Save the Date: Fund Run is Back on October 2nd!
Our El Granada Dolphins are lacing up again for this year's Fund Run — early this year to avoid the rain interruptions of last year! Last year's event was an absolute blast, with Dolphins running, jumping, and diving through our obstacle course while families and generous local business sponsors helped raise an incredible $36,810 for our school. Funds like these go directly toward the programs and events our kids love, our TK-3 PE specialist teacher, Arts and Science Week in April, Miss Piper, Movie Night, Night of Lights and much, much more.
This year, we're aiming to make an even bigger splash, and we can't wait to see our Dolphins in action again! Every Dolphin will get a personal pledge link to share with grandparents, aunts and uncles, neighbors, and family friends, so everybody can cheer them on. Plus, last year's prize draw sent one lucky winner home with a brand-new bike from Straight Wheel Cycling in HMB — who will it be this year?
EVENT INFORMATION
Friday October 2nd 2026
Students can walk or run on an 1/8th mile track. As students complete a lap, a volunteer parent marks their race bib to indicate they’ve completed the lap, students take bibs home and count their laps to collect pledges.
Permission slips are due Monday September 28th
Come and cheer your students on!
Run times are as follows:
TK - 9:00AM
K/1st Grade - 9:30AM
2nd/3rd Grade - 10:00AM
4th/5th Grade - 10:30AM
FUND RUN PRIZES
Every runner will receive a super special gift from the PTO for participating in this event.
Runners that earn $50 in pledges will be entered into a prize drawing for a SUPER prize courtesy of Straight Wheel Cycling!
