As the PTO we are looking for better ways to connect as families to give information about events at school! Last year we started our Class Parent PTO Liaison program. The class parent is a parent/guardian in your child's class receiving updates from the PTO board and acting as your class' source of information for PTO and school events.

 

This could be you! If you like to connect with the families in your class and have a moment each week to pass on PTO information, let us know! You do not need to be a able to attend PTO meetings or be at the school gates to perform this role.

We'll be asking class parents to:

 

• Receive email updates from the PTO board about upcoming PTO events, school events, and happenings at school (construction news, etc.). 

• Share this information with other families in their class by email and through word of mouth

• Be a point of contact for families in their class and pass any questions back through the PTO

• Be a point parent for teachers to work with to find volunteers for field trips or class projects if needed

• Help the yearbook team collect in some photos of your child's class in the classroom or on field trips
